Surely we are living at that time of which Paul spoke when he foretold of the great apostasy and falling away from the faith that would occur. Seemingly even among the majority of Christians, evolution and secular humanism have wrought much harm. The concerted attack on traditional family values is destroying the very fiber of our society.
With God’s leading, I have committed myself to a full-time faith ministry of Creation Evangelism.
My objective is not only to reach the lost, but to evangelize the Christian community regarding the relevance and importance of the origins issue. It is a tragic fact that many in the church, including pastors and seminary professors, do not hold to a biblical view of creation.
The pervasive influence of the humanistic world view based on evolution has caused large numbers to stumble over the issue of inerrancy and to adopt an accommodationist theology in an effort to reconcile the Word of God with evolutionary science. The net effect is seen quite clearly among Christians in three major areas:
- a lack of Biblical fear (awe) toward God
- an inability to completely trust God in all of the circumstances of life
- and an inability (and lack of motivation) to make a total commitment of one’s life to God.
Although the program format is flexible, I normally do a Sunday program which entails a combined Sunday School (junior high and older), the Sunday morning worship service, and the Sunday evening service, followed by a short period of question and answer.
This program is a high quality multimedia (Power Point) presentation, incorporating photographs, clip art, and various other graphics easily seen by all through the use of our computer video projector.
The message itself is geared toward the person with a non-scientific background, yet it is very interesting and informative, covering many critical issues in the creation-evolution debate.
I firmly believe that this is a message that every Christian must hear. I also believe that the creation message is an extremely effective evangelistic medium for the lost.
In addition, the seminar provides an excellent opportunity for an outreach meeting where Christians are able to invite their lost friends to church.
I would welcome the opportunity to come and present this very important ministry, and I look forward to hearing from you.
In His Matchless Grace,
Robert C. Swinson M. Div.
